Ms. Pamela (Pam) Ryans is a native of York, Alabama; a resident of Lyman, South Carolina; and is an avid author and empowerment speaker who provide her audiences with captivating and powerful life messages. Her illustrious career began at a reflecting point of peer molestations, incesteral soundings, and misconduct of educators. She struggled to find her identify in the midst of silence.

Ms. Ryans formalized her education through attendance at Stillman College, a Historically Black College. In pursuit of her “purpose,” she chose to drop her studies during her senior year. Returning to Stillman ten years later, she completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing. Shortly afterwards, she began working at Stillman College in the TRiO department as an Office Manager.

Pam returned to college to obtain a Master’s Degree in Counseling and Psychology from the University of West Alabama, subsequently becoming an Academic Advisor with TRiO’s Student Support Services Program. Pam began penning her life’s journey and became a best-selling author of “Finding ‘Your’ Me.” This book chronicles her pain, her purpose, and her passion. Unselfishly, she provides information for other young ladies to begin their personal journey of self-discovery. Pam is also the author and publisher of three other #1 Best-Selling books, “When I Grow (Blow) Up” (a career guide for children), “A Child’s Tenth” (a parental guide for teaching children to tithe) and “Toilet Treats (an inspirational devotional). Additionally, she is the author of Shaping My Path (an academic and career guide), and “Writing Your Story” (a step-by-step guide to writing for publication). In the midst of a diverse and vast life, Pam Ryans is the Founder of “1 Vision Empowerment,” where she a life coach and publisher. Through “1 Vision Empowerment,” she is the Founder of the Stillman College Alumni Authors Book Dedication and founder of the Books and Brews Author’s Showcase. She also provides academic and career workshops for students of all ages. Pam provides inspirational ministry encouragement via “Transform Your Mind with Pam Ryans,” (text, email, YouTube videos, and on Facebook). Pam dedicated her personal time, as a caregiver to her mother, who battled Stage IV breast cancer until her recent passing. Through her dedication and an intense desire to support other caregivers, Pam began a non-profit organization entitled “The Daughter of Sarah”. Pam hosts an annual event for the organization and provides gifts to caregivers. Additionally, the program advocates the importance of early detection of all illnesses and an awareness of the family history.

Most proudly, Pam mothers four amazing young ladies and is the grandmother of three. Her interest is expressing love through knowledge, correction, and expression. She enjoys reading, music, and just laughing at and with herself and friends.
