Dr. Wycondia West is a well-experienced educator who has been impacting the lives of students for over 20 years. She began her career as an elementary school teacher in 1998. She then shifted gears when she entered the doctorate program at Walden University in 2007. This transition put her on a unique path to researching effective school programs for adolescents. In the summer of 2013, Dr. West decided to resign from the classroom in hopes of having a greater impact on more students. By leaving the classroom, she was able to provide a full-service tutoring program for K-12 students.

More importantly, Dr. West found her niche with ACT tutoring in 2013 when an influx of high school juniors and seniors began asking for help.

After prepping a few students for the ACT, Dr. West decided to develop an amazing ACT test prep program that would benefit all students: high-performing and at-risk. The program became wildly successful and popular among individual clients. After having a consistent success rate, school systems, colleges, and organizations began requesting Dr. West’s professional services. Dr. West currently travels to various locations to teach ACT workshops and ACT classes to groups of students and teachers. Even though the success rate varies from school to school, the students’ success rate typically ranges from 68% to 70%. Dr. West has cracked the code to the ACT! She put the “secret sauce” in her new book ACT Crack the Code and her ACT Crack the Code Study Journal.

Dr. West has been featured on ABC’s Talk of Alabama where she discussed ACT tips and strategies. She shares her expertise on various platforms via interviews, podcasts, speaking engagements.
