Dr. Tanishia Pride, the Founder of Masterful Teaching, is a servant leader with a passion for equity in education and career advancement for minority educators. Masterful Teaching began in 2020, in response to educators’ challenges surrounding the lack of professional development during COVID-19, and developed into a full Leadership Academy, preparing new and aspiring school leaders to Lead and lead effectively. Her unique approach to school leadership has produced leaders who are more confident and prepared for what lies ahead. Dr. Pride has multiple publications in the areas of nanotechnology, social justice in the mathematics classroom, and servant leadership. She also holds a terminal degree in curriculum and instruction, with an emphasis on school leadership.
