Who is Vonne?
Born and raised in Charlotte, NC Vonne is the daughter of Gloria and Dwayne Cade. She is the second to youngest of five children. After graduating from Garinger High School she attended Virginia State University, and is currently completing her Sound Recording Technology degree with a concentration of music business leadership at Berklee College of Music. Vonne has resided in Richmond, VA for the past ten years. Vonne is a member of Liberation Church International under the leadership of Pastors Jay and Ashley Patrick, and currently serves as the Music Director for Triumph Baptist Church in Pamplin, VA.
What has she done?
Vonne Cade has served on both sides of the church as an active youth congregant as well as musician, to being a young adult music director for various churches spanning from North Carolina to Virginia over the past twenty years.
What does Vonne Believe?
The majority of her experience has been embedded in her since a child. With her first hand experiences as well as knowledge gained from mentors and various subjections to musical influences over the years, it is her belief that the Urban Millennial Church is understaffed and underdeveloped. Vonne believes that one of the root cases of this equation is that churches start based off of what they have available to them, and as they grow they do not properly enhance the department. Her years of hands on experience give a direct gateway to address the unexposed issues/ areas of opportunity of the urban millennial church’s music department.
