As a busy single mother of a very active schoolager, Monique Williams, MA, CPLC, balances quite a few hats with her private practice and her personal life. She is an author, entrepreneur, educator, public speaker, girls high school basketball coach, community activist, and PTO Executive who is constantly making moves!
Monique holds her Master of Arts in Human Services: Marriage and Family Counseling. During her studies, she focused her work on women, children, and the support needed to help families experience growth and resilience through transitions (e.g., divorce or separation, changes and losses, and family structure). In addition to her personal and professional experience, Monique boasts advanced training and certification as a Cognitive Behavioral Coach. She is also certified in additional programs including parenting education, relationship enrichment, positive psychology,
purpose development, organizational management, and career transition making her the go-to coach for women’s personal and professional development.
Monique’s philosophy and mission for empowering women is simple: to help overwhelmed and overworked career-driven and business women women to rediscover and redefine themselves with confidence and a commitment to their priorities so that they can move powerfully in their life, business, and career. She places strong emphasis on transformation that creates radical shifts in thinking, accountability, execution, and progress! Why? Because Monique understands how it feels to work tirelessly without recognition. She knows what it means to not feel valued and supported.
She knows what it’s like to breakdown and quit on yourself. Most of all, she knows that those things don’t define her, but motivate her to keep elevating to the TOP!
Monique offers private and group coaching services for women, and she hosts her annual Girlfriends Weekend Retreat in August!
