Chef Shell’s passion and love for my family and the people in my community has encouraged me to bring joy to them through food and cooking. The recipes I have were given to me from my Granny Mary Lee Tyler, Aunt Gussie, and Grandma Penn. I was blessed to have such inspirational women in my life to pass on this great tradition with the world. I consider everyone who has Dr. Shells Soul Food Cooking friends and family, so I feel that I’m blessed to share my gifts with you all. I provide catering services, private chef services and weekly soul food delivery.
Michelle is an Atlanta native with 3 Adult Kids and one grandson who she adores. Michelle loves Atlanta and the community. She is an avid Falcons Fan and prides herself on women empowerment and community advocacy.
Working as an IT professional by day and a Soul Food Chef by night, Michelle loves to cook meals that truly bring people joy, warms their heart, and fills the soul. She has been cooking over 30 years with passion and soul.
