Frances Aylor has always wanted to be a writer. Following a career in investing, where she held the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and analyzed companies to put in mutual funds, she wrote the financial thriller Money Grab (May 2017). The book is the first in a series featuring strong-willed, ambitious Robbie Bradford as a female financial advisor. It won the 2017 IngramSpark Ignite/Rising Star Award.

Frances is passionate about both investing and travel. She has visited many cities throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas. The Forbidden City in China, the Hermitage in Russia, the Western Wall in Israel and the Amazon River rain forest are among her favorite travel spots. She has also enjoyed white water rafting in Costa Rica, parasailing in Mexico and hot air ballooning in Sedona.

A graduate of The College of William and Mary with an MBA from Virginia Commonwealth University, Frances lives in Virginia where she is a member of CFA Society Virginia, James River Writers and Sisters in Crime.
