Cheryl Polote- Williamson is an award-winning best-selling author, film-maker, transformational speaker, philanthropist and certified life coach. Cheryl is the CEO and founder of Cheryl Polote-Williamson, LLC; where her mission is to use her unique talents and abilities to assist, support and empower women to step forward into their life’s purpose by writing and sharing their personal stories. Cheryl serves as a conduit to affirm others in pursuit of their higher selves through life coaching.
Cheryl also leads Williamson Media Group, LLC as the Chief Executive of this global media production company. She has won a national award for Executive Producing the stage play – Soul Purpose. Cheryl has executive produced the hit comedy series, The Power of Laughter Heals the Soul with NAACP Image Award winner, Kim Coles; the woman led short film, Illegal Rose, starring NAACP Image Award winner, actress Jasmine Guy and Season of The Witches. Production for her third film, Saving Clarissa begins the fall of 2020. Cheryl is currently working on multiple film projects as a writer and producer, which all involve nationally acclaimed writers, directors and actors.
More specifically, Cheryl Polote-Williamson has earned multiple awards. She has been the recipient of the Indie Author Legacy Award – Literary Trailblazer of the Year (2017), Producer of the Year for the stage play, Soul Purpose (2018), MizCEO Visionary of the Year Award (2019), and the Salute Her Award Champion Honoree (2019). For her soul stirring and life transforming literary work, Cheryl has been featured at the NAACP National Convention and Congressional Black Caucus, a feature guest on “Sister Circle” Syndicate TV Show, Fox News, Huffington Post, Forbes, Black Enterprise, Rolling Out and Today’s Purpose Woman Magazine. Her literary work includes, Words from the Spirit for the Spirit, Soul Reborn, Safe House, Affirmed, Soul Talk Vol 1, 2 and 3, Soul Bearer, Soul Source, Souled Out, Success Factor and Soulful Prayers.
Cheryl Polote-Williamson obtained her undergraduate degree from Shaw University in Raleigh, NC; is an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. and the Mid-Cities Chapter of The Links, Inc. She is the Founder of Soul Reborn, Inc., a certified 501(c)3 non-profit organization that focuses on transforming the lives of disadvantaged, disenfranchised and previously incarcerated women by educating and equipping them with tools for success designed for life and business. Many initiatives involve partnerships with Intuit, Dallas Mavericks, NAACP, Sole for Souls, Congregational Security Services, Dress For Success and the Barack Obama Male Leadership Academy which deems her a pillar in the community. She resides in Flower Mound, Texas with her husband of 30 years. They have three amazing children, Russell Jr., Lauren and Courtney. She is also a grandmother to Leah and Russell III.
