Artist Spotlight – Donald Godbolt and Spiritual Gifts | New single “Situations”
Donald Godbolt and Spiritual Gifts With a goal and vision to portray musical excellence in ministry, Spiritual Gifts has offered Christ and deliverance to both the hurting and the lost throughout their communities and the nation via anointed music and song.
They love to give God praise because “Praise is Their Weapon!!!” The name Spiritual Gifts is derived from First Corinthians 14:1 and 12 which reads, Follow after love and desire spiritual gifts…but even so ye, forasmuch as ye are zealous for spiritual gifts, seek that ye may excel to the edifying of the church. With that being said, God divinely placed this vision and word in the heart and soul of the late Evangelist Estella Godbolt, who was called unto her heavenly home in January 2005.
Evangelist Estella Godbolt gave birth to this anointed music ministry in the summer of 1996. The original group was composed of cousins and siblings, who shared a like-minded passion: being psalmist and minstrels unto God via music. After this time, Spiritual Gifts ceased from being a music group until September 1, 2007. On September 1, 2007, Brother Donald F. Godbolt reorganized and revived what was once known as the “Spiritual Gifts” music ministry. God placed amazingly enough, the same vision and word that were originally deposited into the late Evangelist Godbolt, his mother, supernaturally and divinely into his heart and soul.
Today Spiritual Gifts is composed of new members; and of-course, these members have been divinely hand-picked and placed by God into this ministry for ministry. Also Donald Godbolt & Spiritual Gifts has opened up for such great artist as Evangelist Dorinda Clark-Cole, Dr. Juanita Bynum, Blanch Mcalister-Dykes, Min. Shea Norman, Pastor Smokey Norful just to name a few. Also Donald Godbolt & Spiritual Gifts hit single “Situations” was featured in several of this years 2016 Stellar Awards showcases. Lastly, if you ask any member of Spiritual Gifts what they love to do, the reply that you will receive is simply this: “We love to worship and praise God with our whole heart, mind, body, soul, and strength because OUR PRAISE IS OUR WEAPON!
