Latavia Marie Taylor, it all began in her hometown, Richmond, Virginia. She was raised by her two lovely parents, the Late Bishop Lawrence L. Taylor and Elder Stephanie K. Taylor, who pastored the Fountain of Deliverance Outreach Ministries. She is the eldest of five wonderful, anointed, and spirit filled children. Latavia is a fine product of the Chesterfield County Public School System. Completely understanding her call to ministry and to the marketplace, she pursued higher education and earned a Business Administration (.B.A) May 2016. Latavia furthered her education and earned a Master of Arts degree in Christian Education ( M.A.C.E) from Virginia Union University in May of 2018.
Latavia has served faithfully and lent her many gifts and talents to her local church, community, and other organizations that she has had the opportunity to be a part of. At fifteen years old she began to assist her father in the area of administration. She was privileged to walk with her father very closely during his tenure as Senior Pastor. As a result of such committed service to God and her leader, she was exposed to multiple arenas and influential figures that configured the path she walks today. Elder Taylor is considered to be a modern day Lydia. One who excels in the world of business but also acknowledges the call of God on her life. As a businesswoman she founded Latavia Marie, LLC which serves as an enterprise which includes entities such as: The World According to Latavia Marie (blog), Your Last Motivational Speaker (podcast), The Butterfly Box, and a host of other business endeavors.
Latavia accepted the call to the ministry on December 31, 2017 and was licensed a minister of the gospel. On January 3, 2021, Latavia was ordained an elder and appointed as Executive Pastor of the Fountain of Deliverance Outreach Ministries with the focus and assignment of Business Affair, Church Leadership and Auxiliary Affairs. Elder Taylor serves as the Executive Director of the Fountain of Life Development, Inc. which was founded in 1994 by her late father. She also continues the legacy of Bishop Lawrence Taylor by furthering the work and mission of the Healing Our World Crusade which has been in existence for over twenty years.
Latavia is full of life and vibrance. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, planning, and spending time with her precious nieces and nephews. She is fully determined and will not stop until everything assigned to her hands is completed and her divine purpose is fulfilled. She’s a lover of God, her family, and His people. One who has already broken barriers and destroyed the glass ceilings that were once above her. Surely with God on her side, nothing will be impossible and she can not be stopped. Elder Taylor is a woman of substance, virtue, and grace. She wholeheartedly believes that if she can help somebody as she travels along, then her living won’t be in vain.
