Dr. Nikita C. Garris-Watson Author of Damaged but Destined: So What? Now What!
A licensed and ordained minister of the Gospel, Dr. Nikita C. Garris-Watson is a humble and willing servant of the Lord and His people. A survivor of childhood and adult physical, sexual and emotional abuse, she has chosen to use the painful tests, trials and tribulations of her life, not as excuses for failure, but rather as battle axes and weapons of war to bring Deliverance to the Nations.
Blessed by strong ministerial training and leadership, Dr. Garris-Watson has served the body of Christ as 
an intercessor, evangelist, prophet, bible teacher, praise team member, associate minister and conference preacher to the neighborhood and the nations. Professionally she is the Director of a college preparatory program and an Adjunct Professor. Dr. Garris-Watson views wisdom as a gift from God and thus has earned a Bachelor’s, two Master’s degrees and a Doctorate of Ministry along with other post-graduate work. Once a month Dr. Garris-Watson is the guest host of her own radio segment called “Inspirational Moments with Dr. Ki.”
Dr. Garris-Watson or “Dr. Ki” as she is affectionately known is the Founder and Senior Pastor of Words of Deliverance Worldwide Ministries and Executive Director of HerStory Ministries. Anointed excellence is her personal standard and her heartfelt prayer is to be used of God to bring about spiritual deliverance, destroy generational curses, eradicate spiritual paralysis, evoke healing and birth permanent change in the lives of God’s people. It is to this effort, that she is preparing to release two books and a clothing line using the profits as the foundation for funding a major community outreach effort geared towards the underrepresented members of our society.
Dr. Ki is married to “the answers to her prayers wrapped in flesh,” Bishop-Designate James E. Watson, Executive Pastor of WODWM and together they share two sons and two daughters. Although striving to greatly impact the Kingdom, they share the belief that family is a ministry like none other and should be protected at all cost.
